Biometric Consent Agreement

Required for Level 2+ Verification

By proceeding with identity verification on the Sponzar platform, you explicitly consent to the collection and processing of your biometric data (such as facial geometry and live selfie photos) alongside your government-issued identification.

This data is processed under the strict requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The data will be shared with our accredited identity verification partner (PBVerify/Datanamix) via a secure, encrypted API solely for the purpose of validating your identity against the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) or equivalent regional databases.

Your raw biometric imagery will not be sold, used for marketing, or retained longer than necessary to fulfill the KYC/AML audit requirements. For full details on retention and sub-processor agreements, please see our Privacy Policy.
